First and foremost, Congratulations to the Class of 2024! We can’t wait to celebrate your accomplishments at Graduation on Saturday!

Due to the weather forecast for Saturday, May 18, 2024, the graduation ceremony will be held in the NHS auditorium at 10 a.m.  All graduating seniors are to arrive at NHS by 8:30 a.m.  For those who are driving, please park on the middle school side of the campus.  All graduates are to enter the building through NMS door #6 and report directly to the NMS/NHS library.

Graduation practice also will be held in the auditorium.  Graduation practice is scheduled for Friday, May 17, 2024, at 9 a.m.  Graduates are to arrive at practice no later than 8:45 a.m. Graduates are to report directly to the auditorium.  Each graduate will receive 8 graduation tickets at the conclusion of practice on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Graduation guests with tickets may enter the graduation event through the main high school or middle school entrance doors.  We ask that all guests arrive at the event by 9:30 a.m.  This will allow for an effective and efficient screening process.  All guests will be screened by metal detectors upon entry into the event.  Guests are strongly encouraged to leave bags and non-essential items at home or in their vehicles.   Balloons are not permitted in the venue.

The graduation event will be live-streamed.  The link to the live-stream event will be posted on the Northumberland County Public Schools and Northumberland High School homepages as well as the school Facebook pages.  Limited seating will be available in the NHS Athletic/Academic Complex for guests without tickets who are unable to access the live-stream remotely.

If you have any questions regarding graduation, please contact Principal Travis Burns at [email protected] or 804-580-5192.
