SUBJECT: Pertussis, Meningococcal, and HPV Vaccination for 7th-Graders
State law requires all students entering 7th-grade receive a booster dose of pertussis-containing vaccine, a dose of meningococcal vaccine, and a dose of the Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV). This means all rising 7th-graders will need a dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), Meningococcal and HPV vaccine before they can start 7th-grade. In order for your child to receive the Tdap vaccine, he/she/they need to be 11 years or older.
